My research seeks to develop building performance simulation (BPS) software for sustainable building design applications, taking artificial intelligence as the source of the primary engine. My doctoral research focuses on the geometric properties of architecture and exchangeable data formats for the complex geometries used to evaluate the performance of building designs. To advance this research agenda, I use artificial intelligence, mainly deep learning (DL), as an alternative to traditional physics-based models.
